Father…

Father |ˈfäðər|noun: a man in relation to his natural child or children.• a man who has continuous care of a child, esp. by adoption; anadoptive father, stepfather, or foster father.• a father-in-law.• a male animal in relation to its offspring

DAD, a male who has traces of blood with the offspring. DAD, a man who has unconditional love for his children. DAD, a male his kids look up to and sets a great example, gives them everything in his power.

Papi,

When you spoke to people about Alex and I, you most likely said “They were the best things that have ever happened to me”  But in reality, You, DAD, are the thing/person/soul that has ever come across us (Family). Yeah, you had your flaws but WHO DOESN’T in this world filled with humanity.

Flashback:

I remember when I fell off my bicycle and busted open my chin. You were calm but deep down you were scared and nervous. So we rushed to the hospital, but keeping me calm you told me “Papo, We’re just going to get more bandages for the chin of yours.” But we were going to the ER. You sat there next to me holding my hand the whole way getting approx. 17 stitches. I love you

One day going through the closets trying to find my toys, I found a dress tie. I ask my father “What is this?” (Only 10 years old at the time) “Well papo, thats a tie (corbata) for suits” said my father. I proceeded to ask him “How does it work” So he ties it very swift and secretive.  I tell him “Whoa tie it slower because I want to learn” and that was the first lesson in being a gentleman. Te quiero – I love you

So many memories, but not enough time to remember them. WHY IS THAT?!  Because everyone is always rushing, working, worrying, being nervous etc. One has to appreciate what it is to have P-A-R-E-N-T-S !!!

My father, TO ME, was a great man who had great attributes IE.(Caring, Worker, No Complaints etc.)

My cousin, She told me my brother that my father was considered by her a “Sleeping Giant” Such a tall and big person even scary at times, But the most loving person especially towards children.

Rest in paradise…My father,my hero,my IDOL: Antonio Eduardo Diaz Toro
